Awkward web developer Sadie Ash and eccentric casino millionaire John Domino fall in love at the card table one night - but little does Sadie know about John's dark past. With everything at stake, can Sadie navigate seven simple lessons to own John's heart and soul - and can John escape from the emotional prison of his ex-lover? How to Train a Man in Seven Easy Lessons is by turns erotic, romantic, witty and deeply moving. It will live with you forever.

Finally, an outrageously addictive novel that turns Fifty Shades of Grey on its head. This intense romantic comedy contains explicit, erotic scenes from the outset, including female domination (femdom) male chastity and BDSM.

Praise on for How to Train a Man in Seven Easy Lessons

"Along with the humanity and humor, this book has a ton of, well, sex! And it is truly hot and beautifully written."

How to Train a Man in Seven Easy Lessons An Erotic Femdom Novel edition by Chloé Hornett Literature Fiction eBooks

In "How to Train a Man in Seven Easy Lessons," author Chloe Hornett manages to do something unusual in the erotica genre: present a nuanced, complex depiction of characters, their relationships and, most importantly, their intentions. Oh, and she also provides a slew of memorable and steamy sex scenes.

Throughout reading this novel, I was pleasantly surprised to find a complex set of characters - all with interesting, non-cliched motives, actions, and thoughts. The novel itself focuses on three main characters (Sadie, John, and Venecia) and their emotional, romantic, and physical entanglements. In the novel, Sadie and John attempt to navigate through John's complicated past involving power vixen Venecia.

While the novel itself is intelligent, steamy, and well-written, it's the characters that provide the most fun. The sex scenes give us some insight into what both parties are feeling and thinking, focusing on their internal dialogues and physical sensations. Venecia's character, particularly, offers us a great counter-narrative to traditional erotica, where the male traditionally provides sexual dominance, power, strength, versatility, direction, etc.

Venecia: "I have discovered John. The real man who was there all along, desperate to serve."

Although the novel is certainly erotic (see above), it's also romantic and witty, offering up a refreshing mix of genres. Bottom line: if you're looking for a cleverly written novel in the femdom or erotica genre that offers great characters AND great sex scenes, pick up this book!

How to Train a Man in Seven Easy Lessons An Erotic Femdom Novel edition by Chloé Hornett Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Chloé Hornett makes what appears to be her debut in writing with this tasty little bit of naughty erotica. She knows her craft – and she knows her audience. But what is more than that she has a unique way of building a story line, introducing characters is a very clever and subtle manner so that you really don’t appreciate they are part of the ‘lesson plan’ of the title until she finished her novel with spunk.

In Erotica books he author either catches the attention in the first few paragraphs or falls victim to the fast scan search for the steam sections and forgetting about the story line. Chloé dispels that flaw with a zinger of an opening paragraph ‘A greasy hotel bar. Like most of its occupants, living off former glories - and finding itself overdrawn. But now Venecia walks into the room, and it changes. Becomes charged. The people in the room change too, like someone has released nerve gas into the air conditioning. I mean, she’s beautiful. And not in a delicate way. In a raw, firm, round, bouncy way. Conversations drop to a chatter, punctuated by the occasional clink of glasses. Then that self-consciously trails off too. The husbands in the room try not to notice her. The wives arch their eyebrows and share silent sympathies. It’s the same feeling you get when you’re pulling in at the supermarket and someone slips in next to you in a flashy car. You ignore it, but it’s a conscious decision. What you really want to do is take a good long stare; touch the paintwork - just for a second. Everything you have and everything you’ve achieved is now thrown against this moment and what this person has that you don’t. What Venecia has a sheer silk dress that drips like treacle.’ Case made!

Her synopsis lays the groundwork – ‘Awkward web developer Sadie Ash and eccentric casino millionaire John Domino fall in love at the card table one night - but little does Sadie know about John's dark past. With everything at stake, can Sadie navigate seven simple lessons to own John's heart and soul - and can John escape from the emotional prison of his ex-lover?’ Stick around – it just gets better. Chloé definitely know her way around! Grady Harp, February 16
I was pulled in by the first two chapters of this book and then pulled right back out and by 24%, decided to DNF the book. The problem? The story doesn't stay true to the title. There's little indication of the femdom we're being sold and the resulting relationship. I'm not sure if the publisher opted to market this book differently from its original intent, but either way - it was a poor swap. Maybe a redo? Different editor?
First of all, I was attracted to the title and cover of this book. It displayed just the right combination of eroticism, humor, and 1950s irony with a heavy wink toward the femdom genre.

Femdom novels can be problematic. When it’s nothing but wham-bam by the ma’am (natch!), it feels a little cartoony. When erotica utilizes a power exchange as its basis of eroticism, I prefer to have it presented in a way that is a little more human and nuanced. I like to be able to feel what is happening to the mind as well as the body.

This book certainly delivers on that front. Yes, Venecia Noir, the ultimate femme fatale who teaches young Sadie the joys of femdom, is a bit over the top (her name reminded me of the Latin phrase “veni, vidi, vici). But the way Sadie and her powerful millionaire boyfriend John navigate Venecia’s lessons expresses the type of sensual and emotional vulnerability, trust, and respect that is the heart of the femdom genre.

Along with the humanity and humor, this book has a ton of, well, sex! And it is truly hot and beautifully written. The physical imagery comes alive in the reader’s mind, but it is in the description of the emotional reactions where this erotica shines.

Highly recommended for those who like their femdom with loads of intelligence, wit, and heart.
I think this book should have been more of description of How to train your man to be your slave...I dont think so I will give this to my wife to read it but yes I liked it
This novel keeps you entertained and wanting more from beginning to end. It is a glimpse into the mind of a woman and is very interesting. The novel in well written and is really easy to follow. It is sort of a twist because we often expect the man to be playing the role that the woman in the novel plays. Definitely a must read.
